Common Entrance Test -2013
Exam:
Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET
2013) is conducted by Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHEB)
for admission to Undergraduate Engineering, Medical & Pharmacy Courses
in various colleges / institutions in Gujarat. Large number of candidates applies
for GUJCET every year for admission to the aforementioned courses. GUJCET is
only open to the candidates belonging to the state of Gujarat. Admission to all
the courses is open to those, who pass / have passed XII Board Exam; and qualify
the GUJCET 2013, respectively.
Colleges under Exam:
GUJCET is conducted for the admission
in various Undergraduate Programs in Engineering, Medical and Pharmacy offered
in various government colleges / government aided colleges / private colleges, and
the universities across Gujarat State.
Reservation of Seats:
GUJCET 2013 is open only for the
candidates belonging to Gujarat State. Of all the available seats, 75% will be reserved for the candidates, who qualify GUJCET and 25% for Management Quota.

GUJCET
is conducted in three languages: English, Hindi & Gujarati.
GUJCET Entrance has 4 papers: Physics,
Chemistry, Biology & Mathematics.
Candidates who want to apply for
engineering need to appear for the papers of Physics, Chemistry &
Mathematics.
Candidates who want to apply for Medical & Pharmacy have to
appear for Physics, Chemistry & Biology papers.
Eligibility:
(10+2) / Higher
Secondary (Appearing / Passed) candidates from GSHEB / CBSE / ICSE from Gujarat State only are eligible to appear
for the test.
Selection Procedure:
Having qualified GUJCET
2013 written Examination, candidates will be called for counseling. Based on
counseling, they will be allotted the colleges coming under the state of Gujarat.
