Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Exams-2014

1.     Candidate should apply for KEAM online and send a printout to the CEE before the last date.
2.     Online submission of Application will be made through CEE website: www.cee.kerala.gov.in
3.     Candidates should send only one application for all the courses in KEAM 2014.
4.     Age should not be more than 17 yrs and 50% mark for Biology and 50% for Science.
5.     Date of Entrance Exams for Paper-I: 23/04/14 and Paper-II: 24/04/14

About Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical Common Entrance Exams:

Admission to the undergraduate Medical courses viz., MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, Homoeo, Siddha, Agriculture, Forestry, Veterinary, Fisheries, Engineering and Architecture should apply through CEE website. The specific Medical courses include MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS and BHMS under the Kerala University of Health Sciences. Duration of the MBBS, BDS, BHMS and BAMS courses is 4½ Years with 12 months compulsory rotating internship

Eligibility Criteria for admission:

NATIVITY:
Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission to Professional courses unless otherwise notified. Candidates seeking admission to Professional courses will be categorised as Keralite, Non-Keralite Category I (NK I) and Non-Keralite Category II (NK II).

AGE:
Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2014. No relaxation in the minimum age will be allowed. There is no upper age limit for KEAM–2014.

ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY:
Candidates who have passed Higher Secondary examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala, or examinations recognised equivalent thereto, with 50% marks in Biology/Biotechnology separately, and 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology put together, are eligible. In the absence of Biology, Biotechnology will be considered as a subject for academic eligibility.

Pattern of Exams (Papers for the Medical Entrance Exam):

Candidates desirous of being considered for the entire Medical & Engineering courses will have to write both papers of the Medical Entrance Examination.

Notes:
The KEAM-2014 Entrance Exam will be objective type with Multiple Choice Questions and based on single response. For each question, five suggested answers would be given, of which only one have to select and mark the alphabet (A/ B/ C/ D/ E) corresponding to the most appropriate response in the OMR Answer Sheet. Questions are not based on NCERT textbooks or any other textbooks exclusively.

Application Procedure:

Online submission of application is required to apply for the Entrance Examination for admission to all the courses (Medical & Allied, Engineering and Architecture). If a candidate submits more than one printout of the application then, his/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The detailed instructions for filling each item in the application are given in Annexure XX of the Prospectus and in the link, “How to Apply” provided on the website www.ceekerala.org and www.cee.kerala.gov.in

Candidate can pay application fee in either of the two following methods:

(a)   Security Card: Security Card and Prospectus can be obtained from selected Post Offices in Kerala and outside the State, on payment of the prescribed fee by cash. The Key number and Serial Number are unique and are required for filling up of payment details in the online application.

(b)   Demand Draft: Application fee can be paid by way of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised/ Scheduled Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Notes:
1.     ST candidates whose annual family income is below Rs.40000/- are exempted from payment of application fee (for General: Rs.800/- and SC/ ST: Rs.400/-).
2.     Candidates choosing 'Dubai' as Examination Centre will have to remit an additional fee of Rs.12,000/- by way of a Demand Draft (DD) drawn on a Nationalised Bank, in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram along with the printout of the application.
3.     Copy of the printout of the Application form must be retained for future reference.
4.     Candidates claiming Inter Caste marriage benefit, Anglo Indian/Jew reservation benefit, etc. should submit income certificate also for availing fee concession/ scholarship.

Applicant should ensure the following before sending the printout of the application form:
(a)   The applicant and parent/guardian have signed the form at the specified space.
(b)   All certificates should be properly filled in and signed by the competent authority with office seal.
(c)   Photograph uploaded online and pasted in the printout of application form should be identical.
(d)   The applicant should select the course/s which he/she desires to study while applying online.
(e)   Key number of candidate should be confidential and keep it in safe custody till the end of process.

Goa-CET 2014 (MBBS)
About Goa-CET:

GCET-2014 for Admissions to Professional Degree Courses in Medicine, Dentistry, Engineering, Pharmacy and Homoeopathy in the State of Goa for the academic Year 2014-15, shall be conducted on Tuesday,6th May,2014 and Wednesday,7th May, 2014 (in place of 7th & 8th May 2014 notified earlier) at various Centres, across Goa State.

Complete application forms shall be accepted from 2nd April, 2014 to 11th April, 2014 at Directorate of Technical Education, Porvorim and Ravindra Bhavan , Margao, together with copy of Admit card of Std. XIIth Exam.

Admissions to B.Arch. course shall be on the basis of scores obtained at NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture), conducted by Council of Architecture, and qualifying exam (Std. XIIth /HSSC.)
Information regarding the admission process, schedules, eligibility criteria, merit list preparation and other relevant details shall be notified in the prospectus to be issued.

NOTE: In the event, Hon’ble Supreme Court, MHRD, MCI, AICTE or any other regulatory body, issues mandatory provisions regarding admissions to any of the above Professional Courses, and makes it compulsorily applicable for admissions to the above courses, for year 2014-15, the above notified admission norms would be reviewed and revised appropriately, with Government approval and duly notified.

Pattern of Goa-CET:

GCET-2014 shall be conducted in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology, based on Std. XIIth syllabus prescribed in these subjects by Goa Board, for March-2014 exam. Each paper will consist of 75 (Seventy Five) questions, of one mark each, to be answered in two hours, with no negative marking.

Assam-CEE-2014


CEE-Assam 2014 (MBBS)

About Assam-CEE:

As authorized by the Govt. of Assam, the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2013 for admission to First Year MBBS/BDS/BE/B. Tech. Courses in the Colleges of the State of Assam shall be conducted by the Dibrugarh University. The Examination shall be held on 18th and 19th May, 2013 in the Centres as given in the Information Brochure.

Information Brochure, Online Application Form, Fee Structure, copy of Bank Challan and Forms required during counselling for admission will be available from 6th April to 27th April, 2013 in the websites: www.ceemedu.org and www.dibru.ac.in

The Assam Combined Entrance Examination is conducted by the Dibrugarh University Assam to admissions to MBBS and BDS courses in various colleges across Assam.

Important Dates:

·         Release of the application form: 1st week April 2014

·         Exam date: 3rd week May 2014 [18 & 19 May]
·         Declaration of Result: 1st week June 2014
·         Start of Counselling: 3rd week July 2014

Eligibility Criteria:

·         Candidate must be an Indian Citizen and he/ she should be permanent residence of Assam
·         Candidate must have attained an age of 17 years in the year of admission and should be less than 21 years (a relaxation of 3 years is permitted for the SC/ST candidates). The age limit is set on 22 years for the candidates who have passed their B.Sc.
·         Candidate must have passed intermediate examination (10+2) from Assam Higher Secondary Board or any other recognized board in the country in combined English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry
·         Candidate belongs to GC and OBC must have secured at least 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in the qualifying examination and 50% if he/she belongs to SC/ST category
·         The candidates belonging to General category must secure at least 50% marks in the Assam CEE 2014 and those belonging to SC/St category must secure at least 40% marks

Pattern of Exam:

Assam CEE 2014 will be two papers of 100 questions each in four subjects. Duration of exam is 2 hours for each subject. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no Negative marking for a wrong response.

Admission Procedure:

All the eligible candidates are required to fill the form online from the official website. There will be 3 options and candidates have to choose their desired course to which they want to apply for:
1.      Course 1 – For Medical Courses Only (MBBS/BDS)
2.      Course 2 – For Engineering Courses Only
3.      Course 3 – For Both Engineering and Medical Courses.
·         The candidate will have to logon to the official website of the conducting authority and download the bank challan
·         After filling up the bank Challan the candidate must pay the application fee
·         After the candidate has submitted  the fee he/she must login to the official website and fill up the application form
·         In the application form the candidate will have to Upload a scanned copy of a passport size photograph  in the prescribed format and also a scanned copy of his/her full signatures
·         After submitting the Application Form online the candidate must take a printout of that application form and send it to the Member Secretary, Cell CEE – 2014 by speed post in an A4 sized envelope along with the Dibrugarh University copy of the Bank Challan
Assam CEE 2014 Selection Process: After the Assam CEE 2014 has been conducted a selection panel comes up with a merit list based on the marks secured by the candidates in Assam CEE 2014, the merit list is published on the official website of the conducting authority and candidates are called upon for seat allocation and counseling.
