AIPMT-2015_Analysis

AIPMT (All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test)-2015
In compliance with the directives of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), Delhi, would be conducting the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2015 for admission to MBBS/ BDS Courses under 15 % All India Quota seats except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir in several Medical/ Dental Colleges of India. Applications are invited through Online only.
The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance test, declaration of result and providing merit list to the Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi (DGHS) and participating States/Universities/Institutions. The counselling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS.
In addition to 15% seats, the admission will also be made under State Quota in the State of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Orissa, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Delhi. Admission through AIPMT-2015 will also be made in AFMC- Pune, Banaras Hindu University and Jamia Hamdard University.
Note: Institutes those are not participated in AIPMT-2015: Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya Nagaland and Punjab.

Important Dates for AIPMT-2015:
1.      Date of Entrance Examination, AIPMT-2015: 1st week of May 2015 [03/05/2015]
2.      Online Submission of Application Forms without late fee: 1st Dec. to 31st Dec. 2014
3.      Online Submission of Application Forms with late fee : 3rd Jan. to 31st Jan. 2015
4.      Date of uploading of Admit Cards on website: 1st April 2015
5.      Declaration of Result, AIPMT-2015: 1st week of June 2015 [05/06/2015]
Eligibility Criteria for AIPMT-2015:
1.      The Candidate should be an Indian National.
2.      Minimum age of the candidate should be 17 years at the time of admission.
3.      The upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December, which shall be relaxed by a period of 5 years for the candidates of SC/ ST/ OBC category.
4.      The Candidate must have passed in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English individually.
5.      He/ She must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks for General category (GC), 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/ OBC-PH category in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examinations.
6.      No state eligibility criteria will be applicable for the students who take admission under 15% All India Quota Scheme.
7.      Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Telangana are eligible to appear in AIPMT for admission in AFMC, Pune.

Pattern of AIPMT-2015:
1.      The AIPMT Entrance Test consists of one paper of Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).
2.      The paper contains total 180 objective type questions of 720 marks (45 questions on each subject).
3.      Every question has four options with single correct answer.
4.      Incorrect answer/more than one answer will award 1/4th negative marks.
5.      Duration of the paper would be 3 hours from 10:00 am to 01:00 pm.
6.      Candidates can opt for Question Paper either in English or in Hindi.
Submission of Confirmation Page:
For sending Computer Generated Confirmation Page of online Application Form, use any good quality A5 size (12” x 10”) envelope and paste the Computer Generated CBSE Address Slip on the envelope and to be dispatched only by Registered/ Speed Post to:
