Analysis of CBSE – AIPMT 2015


The Central Board of Secondary Education has declared the result of Re-test of All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Test - 2015 which was conducted on 25th July, 2015 at 1065 centres located in 50 cities.

A total number of 3,74,386 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 1,80,957 boys and 1,93,429 girls. There are approximately 3722 seats against 15% All India Quota. 

While declaring the result, wait list of four times of the seats has also been prepared and provided to the Directorate General of Health Services for the purpose of counseling by CBSE. 

Accordingly, the total number of candidates placed in merit and wait list are 18,610.

The topper of the examination is Vipul who had secured 695 marks out of 720. 
The second topper is Khushi Tiwari who secured 688 marks.

Notes:
·    All Candidates are advised to remain in touch with CBSE website www.aipmt.nic.in as well as Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website www.mcc.nic.in till completion of UG admission process for any results related information/updates, counselling schedule, instruction etc.

·     Online counselling for Seats under 15% All India Quota would be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Directorate General of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Nirman Bhavan, New Delhi. Candidates are advised to read the Counselling Information Bulletin which will be made available on website www.mcc.nic.in and www.mohfw.nic.in in due course.

·       Qualifying in AIPMT 2015 does not confer any right for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges. Selection of Qualified candidates in AIPMT 2015 for admission to Medical/Dental Colleges is subject to merit position and satisfying the admission criteria as laid down in the rules of Central Government/State Government/Universities/Institutions.
