Nature of Engineering Entrance
Exams. – (B. Tech)
JEE (Main)
Nature of Test – JEE (Main) shall
have two papers, Paper-1 (for B. E. / B. Tech.) and Paper-2 (for B. Arch. / B.
Planning). Paper-1 consists of 90 questions, (30 questions in each subject).
Each question carries four marks. Incorrect answer will be awarded with 1/4th negative
marking. Depending upon the course(s) candidates may take Paper-1 or Paper-2 or
both. The
medium of question paper shall be predominantly in English and Hindi
language.
The candidates will be
required to make their slot/date selection through online mode during 1st
February 2014 to 15th February 2014. The exact slots/ dates for
computer based examination were displayed on the website by 1st
February 2014.

Nature of Test – The
JEE (Advanced) will have two objective type papers i.e., Paper-1 & Paper-

BITS-Admission Test – Pilani, Rajasthan
Nature of Test – BITSAT
is a Computer Based Online Test. If a candidate answers all the 150 questions without
skipping any question, the candidate will have an option of attempting 12 extra
questions (if there is still time left). These extra questions will be from
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics only; four questions from each part.
Further, once the candidate has opted for extra questions, he cannot go back
for correction of any of the earlier answered 150 questions. The questions are
so designed that a good student will be able to answer 150 questions in 180
minutes.
The extra questions will give a chance
to highly meritorious candidates to score higher. However, candidates should
keep in mind the fact that there is negative
marking for wrong answers. Candidates should bring a pen for the purpose of
rough work, signing etc. Blank sheets for rough work will be provided, if
required.
There is no time limit for individual
parts of the test. The candidate can go back and change any of his/her answers
among the 150 questions. While the candidate skips a question, the computer
will not allow the candidate to choose more than one option as correct answer. The
test consists of four parts.

Nature of Test – The Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common

Nature of Goa-CET- Admissions to

Nature of Test – Candidates
desirous for the entire Medical & Engineering courses under Kerala Engineering Agriculture Medical
Common Entrance Exam will have
to write both papers of the Medical Entrance Examination. For Engineering and Medical
Entrance Examinations, each Paper will have 120 questions to be answered in 150
minutes.
The KEAM Entrance Exam will be
objective type with Multiple Choice Questions and based on single response. For
each question, five suggested
answers would be given, of which only one have to select and mark the alphabet
(A/ B/ C/ D/ E) corresponding to the most appropriate response in the OMR
Answer Sheet. There will be two papers. Paper-I will be Chemistry and Physics
of 60 questions each. And Paper-II
will be only 120 questions of Mathematics.
Each question carries 4 marks. Negative mark
(-1) will be awarded for each wrong answer. Duration of each
paper is 2 ½ hours.
Scoring, negative marks: For each
correct response in the Engineering and Medical Entrance Examinations, the
candidates will be awarded FOUR
marks, and for each incorrect response, ONE
mark will be deducted from the total score. More than one answer indicated
against a question will be deemed as incorrect response, and will be awarded
negative marks. Questions are not based
on NCERT textbooks or any other textbooks exclusively.

Nature of TBJEE – Candidates
willing to appear in Tripura Joint Entrance Examination have to attempt
questions of four different subjects, such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
and Biology. Each of the subjects of Examination will be of 100 marks. Duration
of Examination of each paper will be 2 hours. There will be 50 (fifty) compulsory MCQs, taking 5 (five) questions
