Eligibility Criteria
·
Nationality: The Candidate should be an Indian
National.
·
Age: Minimum age of the candidate
should be 17 years at the
time of admission or will
complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to
the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. The
upper age limit is 25 years as on 31st December and this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period
of 5 years for the candidates of SC/
ST/ OBC category.
·
Academic Qualification: The Candidate must have passed in
the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Bio-technology and English
individually.
·
Minimum Percentage: He/ She must have obtained a
minimum of 50% marks for General
category (GC), 45% marks for General-PH and 40% marks for SC-PH/ ST-PH/ OBC-PH category in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examinations.
·
No state eligibility criteria will be applicable for
the students who take admission under 15% All India Quota Scheme.
·
Candidates from the States of Andhra Pradesh, Jammu
& Kashmir and Telangana are eligible to appear in AIPMT for admission in
AFMC, Pune.
Exam Structure
·
AIPMT-2016
shall be a single paper consisting 180 objective type questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany &
Zoology).
·
Maximum marks are 720. The duration of paper would be 03
hours.
·
For
each correct response 4 marks will be awarded whereas for each incorrect
response 1 mark will be deducted from the total score.
·
No
deduction from the total score will be made if no response is indicated. More
than one answer will be negatively marked.
·
Language of the question papers will
be either in English or in Hindi along
with Telugu, Tamil, Gujarati and Bengali as optional for respective state’s
students.
·
Questions
are to be answered on the specially designed machine-gradable (ORS) sheet using
blue/black ink Ball Point Pen only.

In Brief
· The CBSE, Delhi, conducts the All India Pre-Medical/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT) 2016 for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses under 15 % All India Quota seats except in the states of Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Jammu & Kashmir in several Medical/ Dental Colleges of India.
· The CBSE is conducted the entrance test, declared result and provide merit list to the Directorate General of Health Services, New Delhi (DGHS) and participating States/Universities/Institutions.
· The counseling for successful candidates under 15% All India Quota seats is conducted by the DGHS.
· In addition to 15% seats, the admission is also made under State Quota in the State of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Odisha, Rajasthan, Chandigarh and Delhi.
· Admission through AIPMT-2016 will also be made in AFMC-Pune, Banaras Hindu University and Jamia Hamdard University. Applications are invited through Online only.
· Date of Exam, AIPMT-2016: 01.05.2016 (Sunday)
· Declaration of Result: By 5th June, 2016

How to Apply:
Preparation for filling up of Application
Form:
Before submission of application
form, make the following preparations:
·
The information desired to be filled
in the online application such as name of Father/Mother and Candidate with
correct spellings as per Class X Certificate, Date of birth, Address, Mobile
number, e-mail ID, etc. may be kept ready.
·
Candidate should have scanned images
of his latest Photograph (size of 10 Kb to 100 Kb), Signature (size of 3 Kb to
20 Kb) and Right Hand Index Finger (size of 3 Kb to 20 Kb) in JPG format only,
for uploading as part of submission of online application.
·

Mode of Payment of Fee: Candidates
may pay the fee
1.
Through any Debit/Credit Card using
on-line gateway payment facility or
2.
Through e-Challan by depositing fee
in CBSE’s Bank Account maintained by Syndicate Bank, *Canara Bank, State Bank
of India, ICICI Bank or HDFC Bank directly by downloading the e-challan Form
from the website of www.aipmt.nic.in. (For candidates deciding to pay fee
through e-Challan, last date for submission of online application without late
fee is 08th January, 2016 & with late fee is 06th February, 2016.) *
Subject to final confirmation from Canara Bank.

Download the e-challen from website-
www.aipmt.nic.in.
d.
Deposit the fee in the chosen Bank
by 12th January, 2016 without late fee. After this date, fees will not be
deposited and candidate has to generate new challan for which late fees as
applicable need to be paid.
e.
Deposit the fee in the chosen Bank
by 10th February, 2016 with late fee. After this date, no fees will be
deposited.

(i) If decided to pay fee through
Net Banking, follow the instructions as communicated during the online
processing.

(i) If decided to pay the fee
through e-wallet, make the cash payment to the Common Service Centre and obtain
the auto-generated receipt of the amount paid.

Keep the statement of bank/e-challan
Slip/Net Banking transaction receipt/e-wallet (CSC) receipt bearing Application
Registration Number, Name and address of the Bank branch with branch code where
fee has been deposited and transaction ID number for future reference.

Print the Confirmation Page (Step-4)
of online application after submission Step-3 in case of debit/ credit card/
Transaction by e-challan/Net Banking/e-wallet (CSC).

Failure to complete Step-2 of Online
Application and further payment of fee as per Step-3, final Submission of
Online Application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful in all modes of
payment of fee.

Method of Submission of Application Form
1.
Log on to website www.aipmt.nic.in.
Download the Information Bulletin and Replica of Application – 2016 &
follow before submission of application online.
2.
Go to the link “Apply On-line” and
open the same.
3.
Read the instructions and procedure
for on-line submission of Application Form carefully. At the end of this page,
following four links to apply online
are given:
·
Fill in the on-line application form
Step-1 and note down the registration number.
·
Upload images of photograph,
signature and Right Hand Index Finger impression in JPG format at Step-2 of the
application.
·
Make payment of fee through
Debit/Credit Card/ e-challan/Net Banking/e-wallet (CSC) in Step-3.
·
Take print out of Confirmation
page(s) at Step-4 of online application format and preserve it for future
reference along with copy of proof of fee deposited, if fee is deposited
through e-challan/ e-wallet (CSC) mode.
(A) A
copy of the confirmation page and self-declaration as the case may be, will be
emailed on the registered email id of the candidate for future reference after
successful submission.
(B) Candidature
of the candidates will not be accepted if fee is not paid even after the
successful submission of application form and issue of registration number.
(C) In
case, any candidate is having any problem, such candidate may visit any of the Common Services Centres for submission
of application form and payment of fee. The common services centres have been
set as per a scheme of the Department of Electronics and Information
Technology, Government of India. The details of the common services centre are
given below:
Common Services Centres/ Facilitation Centres
Candidates, mainly from the urban
areas, are well versed with the technology of online submission of application
form and without any help they are capable of submitting the application form
online and 24x7. However, for providing support to candidates from rural areas
who may otherwise find it difficult to submit the online application due to
various constraints, CBSE is using the services of Common Services Centre,
Ministry of I.T., Govt of India under the Digital India initiatives of Hon’ble
Prime Minister. The Common Services Centre (CSC) scheme is a part of the
ambitious national e-Governance Plan (NeGP) of Government of India and is
managed at each village panchayat level by a Village level entrepreneur (VLE).

http://www.csc.gov.in. The Common Services Centre will be providing services as

IMPORTANT NOTES FOR CANDIDATES
1.
AIPMT-
2016 will be held on 01.05.2016 (Sunday).
2.
AIPMT-
2016 will be held in single stage and would be an objective type test.
3.
Only
ONE application is to be submitted by a candidate.
4.
Particulars
filled in application form may be chosen carefully as options exercised once
cannot be changed later including examination centre city and Language of
Question Paper.
5.
Allotment
of centre is made by Computer and there is no human intervention. Under no
circumstances the allotted centre shall be changed by the Board.
6.
The
candidates can download Admit Card for the Examination from website
www.aipmt.nic.in.
7.
The
candidates can download the Result, Marks cum Rank Sheet/Rank Letter from the
website www.aipmt.nic.in.
8.
Candidates
should fill-up online form and pay fee well in advance to avoid last hour rush
on the server. No request regarding non-submission of application will be
entertained.
9.
For
the latest updates, candidates must remain in touch with the website
www.aipmt.nic.in, www.mohfw.nic.in & www.mcc.nic.in till the completion of
final round of counseling. Candidates must preserve the Admit Cards till the
admission in MBBS/BDS Course.
10. Candidates are advised to be in touch with
news events/notice on the AIPMT website and regularly check their e-mails on their
given e-mail id and SMS on their given mobile number for latest updates.
