Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates
should have secured at least 45 per cent of marks (40 per cent in case of
candidates belonging to reserved category) in the specified subjects taken
together in the Class 12 pattern. Also, they should belong to the state of
Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. They should satisfy local / non-local status
requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh Education
Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974.
Paper pattern
The
question paper will be framed in either English or Telugu language. Those who
opt to write the examination in Urdu must appear at the Hyderabad center only.
The paper will consist of total 160 questions, divided into the following three
subjects:
Chemistry:
40
Physics: 40
Mathematics: 80
Physics: 40
Mathematics: 80
All
questions will be of objective type/multiple choice type and will carry one
mark each. The duration of the examination will be of three hours. No negative
marking will be done for wrong answers.

TSEAMCET in Brief:
The exam dates for the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) has been released by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad. The exam is scheduled to be conducted on May 2 for granting admissions to undergraduate engineering courses in the university and across private unaided and affiliated professional colleges of the state.
The online application for the same will be available from February 28. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for it till March 28.
