BACHELOR OF MEDICINE & BACHELOR OF SURGERY (MBBS)

Duration: 4 years plus 1 year compulsory rotating internship.

Eligibility: Citizenship: Indian nationals.

Date of Birth: Should fall on or before 31.12. 99

Qualification: Pass in 10+2, A level, IB, American 12th grade or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually with a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together.

Admissions

General Category: Admissions are done on the basis of rank in the All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016.

Note: Only candidates who have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in All India Manipal University Online Entrance Test (MU-OET) 2016 will be considered for admissions.

Candidates with foreign qualifications will have to obtain the 'Equivalence Certificate' from Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi who will equate their qualifications as equivalent to the 10+2 of India. This certificate will have to be submitted at the time of counseling. Students who are qualified with CBSE or ISCE or any other Indian Board qualifications need not submit the equivalency certificate.
