Assam-CEE 2014 (B. Tech)
About Assam-CEE:
As
authorized by the Govt. of Assam, the Combined Entrance Examination (CEE), 2013
for admission to First Year MBBS/BDS/BE/B. Tech. Courses in the Colleges of the State
of Assam shall be conducted by the Dibrugarh University. The Examination shall
be held on 18th and 19th May, 2013 in the
Centres as given in the Information Brochure.
Information
Brochure, Online Application Form, Fee Structure, copy of Bank
Challan and Forms required during counselling for admission will be
available from 6th April to 27th April, 2013 in the
websites: www.ceemedu.org and www.dibru.ac.in
Assam Common Entrance Examination (CEE) 2014 will be conducted in the next year by The Directorate of
Technical Education, Assam
Government to provide admissions to the eligible candidates in various
engineering colleges in the state of Assam.
Important
Dates:

Release of the application form: 1st week April 2014
·
Last date for submission of application form: Last week April 2014
·
Exam date: 3rd week May 2014
·
Declaration of Result: 1st week June 2014
·
Start of Counselling: 3rd week July 2014
Eligibility Criteria:
·
Candidate must be an Indian
national.
·
Candidate must have attained an age of 17 years in the year of admission
and should be less than 21 years (a relaxation of 3 years is permitted for the
SC/ST candidates).
·
The age limit is set on 22 years for the candidates who have passed their
B.Sc.
·
Candidate must have passed intermediate examination (10+2) from Assam
Higher Secondary Board or any other recognized board in the country.
·
Candidate must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in English, Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics (45% for SC and 40% for ST candidate).
Pattern of
Exam:
CEE Assam exam paper contains 3
subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Each paper is of 100 marks and
candidates are allotted 180 minutes for each paper.
Assam CEE 2014 will
be two papers of 100 questions each in four subjects. Duration of exam is 2
hours for each subject. Each question carries 1 mark. There is no Negative
marking for a wrong response.

Admission Procedure:
All the eligible
candidates are required to fill the form online from the official website.
There will be 3 options and candidates have to choose their desired course to
which they want to apply for:
1.
Course 1 – For
Medical Courses Only (MBBS/BDS)
2.
Course 2 – For
Engineering Courses Only
3.
Course 3 – For Both
Engineering and Medical Courses.

The candidate will have
to logon to the official website of the conducting authority and download the bank
challan
·
After filling up the
bank Challan the candidate must pay the application fee
·
After the candidate has
submitted the fee he/she must login to the official website and fill up
the application form
·
In the application form
the candidate will have to Upload a scanned copy of a passport size
photograph in the prescribed format and also a scanned copy of his/her
full signatures
·
After submitting the
Application Form online the candidate must take a printout of that application
form and send it to the Member
Secretary, Cell CEE – 2014 by speed post in an A4 sized envelope along with
the Dibrugarh University copy of the Bank Challan
